We have witnessed the horrors in Palestine, and a “pause” has not improved the situation for our brothers and sisters.
The genocide is only intensifying, and the influential leaders of the world have remained silent. Allahu musta'an.
The crisis has been compounded due to the change of seasons.
Winter is brutal and harsh for those of us here, and for the homeless, the injured, the orphaned, and the helpless in Gaza, it is even worse.
The freezing temperatures can be hazardous for anyone sleeping without proper shelter, and as winter's icy grip tightens, so does the situation's urgency.
Our brothers and sisters in Gaza are bleeding. When they bleed, we bleed because they are part of our ummah.
We must remember that Allah ﷻ has intentionally put us in a stronger position in the world relative to our beloved brothers and sisters in Palestine to test us; it, therefore, becomes paramount for us to help those who are weaker; rather, it is a responsibility that Allah ﷻ may ask us on the Day of Judgement.
We cannot stand by and watch
the horrors without, at the very least, trying to do something.
Don't belittle any good action!
You may have wondered why we ask for donations if there is a blockade.
We are asking for donations to buy as much aid as possible while waiting for the humanitarian corridors to open.
